How long does it take to see progress?

You’ll start seeing improvements in just a few weeks, depending on how much you practice and your dedication. Regular practice and lessons will accelerate your progress.

Do I need my own bass to take lessons?

Yes, having your own bass is highly recommended for practice between lessons. However, if you’re just getting started, you are welcome to use one at the studio.

Can I learn both electric and upright bass?

Absolutely! Russell teaches both electric and upright bass. You can focus on one or learn both, depending on your interest and goals.

Do you offer online lessons?

Currently, we only offer face-to-face lessons. In-person lessons provide a more personalized, hands-on experience, allowing for immediate feedback and adjustments to help you improve your technique more effectively.

How often should I take lessons?

For the best results, weekly lessons are recommended, but we can work with your schedule to find what suits you best.

Do you offer group lessons?

Yes, group lessons are available based on interest and scheduling. A minimum of 3 students is required to start a group.

What happens if I miss a group lesson?

If you miss a group lesson, there will not be a make-up session. However, materials and notes will be provided to help you catch up.

Can you help me prepare for performances or auditions?

How do I book a lesson?

Booking a lesson is easy! Contact Russell directly or email us to schedule your first session.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please do so at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the lesson may incur a cancellation fee.
Missed lessons without prior notice will be charged at the full rate.

When and how do I make payments?

Payments are due at the start of each lesson or in advance for a package of lessons.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfers, PayNow, or cash.
